POTA court sentences 3 of 10 convicts to life for 2002-03 Mumbai blasts.
Special Prevention of Terrorism Act (Pota) judge P R Deshmukh on Wednesday spared Muzammil Ansari the death sentence and sentenced him to life for the "rest of his life" for conspiracy and planting bombs that caused three blasts between December 2002 and March 2003 in Mumbai Central railway station, Vile Parle and Mulund,
The blasts killed 12 and injured over 130 other innocent people, leaving many with permanent hearing impairment.
